  • New Features
    • Building on the newly added forensic-grade parsing for Axon Body 4 body camera UUID extension boxes in the video parsing pipeline. Magnet Verify will now display all available telemetry data from Axon proprietary boxes when they are present in Axon-generated body worn camera video. This data will be found in the Decoded Metadata section of the File Examination Report. Additionally time-based metadata (e.g., location, accelerometer, gyroscopic) data will be displayed as downloadable datasets in the newly added "Time-Based Metadata" section of the File Examination Report. - MET-983
    • Magnet Verify users will be able to toggle sections of the decoded metadata area of the File Examination Report to reduce the amount of scrolling required to review all metadata decoded by Magnet Verify. - MET-906
    • Magnet Verify's method of Encoder Configuration Analysis (ECA) now supports ECA comparisons when HEVC (H.265) video samples are present in the file. Previously ECA was only viable for files where AVC (H.264) video samples were present. - MET-954
    • Added proprietary parsing logic for Apple-specific metadata tracks in video files that carry time-based metadata such as face detection data. This information will now be available in the Decoded Metadata section of the File Examination Results page. - MET-884
  • Improvements
    • Added proprietary parsing logic for extra video metadata found in some Huawei-generated videos. - MET-1040
    • Fixed the presence of a recurring "hvc1" box found in HEIC files. - MET-979
